This portfolio highlights my teaching philosophy, classroom experiences, professional growth, and dedication to fostering a lifelong love of learning.
About Me
My name is Julianna Bellocco, and I am currently an aspiring English educator. My educational journey has been shaped by perseverance, personal growth, and a deep commitment to lifelong learning.
Throughout my fieldwork and student teaching experiences, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse learners in high school classrooms. These experiences have strengthened my passion for creating inclusive learning environments where students feel valued, supported, and challenged to their full potential.
I believe that education extends beyond academic achievements. By building meaningful relationships, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging student voice, I strive to help students become confident learners and engaged members of their communities. As an educator, I view myself as a lifelong learner who continuously seeks opportunities for growth, collaboration, and professional development.
Outside of the classroom, I have held leadership positions that have allowed me to organize community service initiatives and fundraising events supporting school and college readiness programs. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of education to create meaningful opportunities and lasting impact.
Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive, student-centered classroom where all learners feel valued, supported, and challenged. I believe building meaningful relationships, fostering critical thinking, and providing engaging learning experiences that empower students to find their voices. As an educator, I am committed to lifelong learning and helping students develop the skills and confidence needed for success inside and outside the classroom.
Community Engagement & Service
Volunteered at a local Halloween parade, building positive connections with students and families outside of their classrooms.
Organized and hosted a carnival fundraising event to support school and college readiness initiatives,
Throughout my college career, I served as the Philanthropy Chairman for my sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma, where I organized multiple events and fundraisers in support of the school and college readiness initiative. Through these efforts, we raised thousands of dollars for educational resources, scholarships, and underprivileged schools. These experiences reinforced my belief that education extends beyond the classroom and that educators play an important role in supporting their communities.

Closing Reflection
Education has the power to change the trajectory of a student's life. My goal as an educator is to continue creating learning experiences that build confidence, encourage curiosity, and help students recognize their own potential. Every day, I strive to be both a teacher and a learner, continuously growing alongside my students.
